	William Buckler's 9 volumes on the larvae of the butterflies and moths represented a monumental feat of artistry over nearly 30 years. Published by the Ray Society in 1894 and 1895, Volumes 7 and 8 cover the known British species of Geometrae. Some of the nomenclature has since changed, but the species and life-cycle descriptions and the 42 plates of hand-coloured illustrations remain invaluable, although they are rarely seen. Pisces Conservation are delighted to release these 2 volumes in electronic form. Vols. 7 and 8 are available on one CD, for Windows PCs and Macs, with fully searchable text and hyperlinks for ease of navigation. The quality of reproduction of illustrations and text is excellent.
