•	Place the SDR CD in the drive.

•	The installation process should begin automatically; follow the on-screen instructions.

•	If the CD does not auto-run, browse in Windows Explorer or My Computer, and double-click the file named Setup.exe in the root directory.

When installation is complete there will be a Species Diversity and Richness entry on your Start menu and a folder (directory) called C:\Program Files\Diversity 4 which holds the Diversity program and associated files. An uninstall program will also be created, accessible from the Start menu should you wish to remove the program. If you wish to make a shortcut to the program on your desktop, go to the Species Diversity and Richness entry on the Start menu, right-click on it, and choose Send To: Desktop (create shortcut). Demonstration data files will be installed in the folder My Documents/SDR Data.
