The Variable Selection option enables you to use either Redundancy Analysis or Correspondence Analysis to identify the three variables which contribute most to the variability of the response variables and which should therefore be retained in any of the multivariate analyses.

It also performs a randomization and calculates significance levels.

When selecting Redundancy or Correspondence analysis from the Variable Selection menu, you are presented with a dialog from which you can



select the number of iterations to be run. Warning: On a large dataset, selecting 1000 iterations could be somewhat time-consuming.
